She was born in Caracas, Venezuela and grew up in Spain, from where she got naturalized and is a proud European citizen.
She began her training at a very young age in rhythmic gymnastics at the age of 4, becoming a professional gymnast at Junior category, a profession that she combined with ballet classes. At the age of 13 she moved to Spain where she began her professional training as a dancer at the Elena da Silva Professional Conservatory, where she trained in different dance disciplines such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, flamenco, among others. At the age of 15, he began training in Latin rhythms and had the opportunity to be part of several dance teams created for national competitions in Spain. With these teams, Oriana was proclaimed champion of Spain in Salsa and Bachata in different categories for 10 consecutive years, giving her the opportunity to many dance conferences: participating in TV programs, accompanying national and international artists in concerts, and traveling around the world, teaching Latin dances, and performing shows of different rhythms. Among the best-well-known: Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba.
Oriana moved to Washington, D.C. in 2015 where she pursues her career as a female soloist and is a teacher of Ballet, Latin rhythms and African rhythms for children, adolescents, and adults. She is currently a competition choreographer, video clip artist / dancer, jury member, and dance teacher in associations and universities around the United States.
Pedro is a Cuban native raised in Miami; a classically trained musician turned dancer. His admiration for dancing developed during his time in college when he accidentally joined his college’s Latin dance team JHU’s ¡Baila! From then his passion for dancing flourished and took on various leadership roles including teaching and choreographing for the team. This led him to become proficient in a diverse number of Latin dance styles, including Salsa On1, Mambo (Salsa On2), Rueda de Casino (Cuban Salsa), and Bachata. His style heavily draws upon a vast library of Folkloric Cuban dances such as Cha Cha Cha, Cuban Rumba, Pilón, Son, and Yoruba Dances.
Drawing upon his musical experience, Pedro is a dancer with over half a decade of experience as a dancer, instructor, and performer. A student of world-renowned instructors Marisol Blanco, Superior Institute of the Arts Graduate in Cuba and world champion Michelle Morales extensively training under her direction as a member of her Muevete team.
He currently serves as director of 2 Latin dance teams Salsa Fusion and La Femme. Pedro was the Grand Champion of the Mirror Ball Award for the First Annual Prince George County Family Justice Center Foundation, Dancing with the Start Championship. Alongside Fox5 news anchor Marissa Mitchell with a Cha-Cha routine which he choreographed.
